My Bucket List

It all started when I was talking to someone at one of my son's baseball games and she told me that every summer they take their son and go to a handful of baseball games. As soon as I heard that I thought "what a great idea that would be for my family and myself!" It was then I decided to do my very own bucket list of ballparks in this country with my family.
After visiting a half dozen or so, I figured I would start doing my own rankings of ballparks but what do I rank and what criteria should I use? First of all, any ranking list is subjective, this is my list and I will judge it by the things that are most important to me. So here are some of the criteria I use in ranking the ballparks:
Design of the ballpark – how is the park designed? How is it unique from other parks
The experience in the park – what is the atmosphere like before, during and after the game
The surrounding area/neighborhood – is this a place that I can spend some time before and after the game? Are there good food and drink options? A team meseum/hall of fame attached?
Onsite amenities – Are there a wide range of food drink options? Can you get food and drink in a timely manner? Are there ample restrooms?
Historical Significance – What historical events have happened at this park?
So there you have it - I will keep my rankings on the website and I'll update them as I visit more ballparks. I would love to hear comments from you as well. Enjoy!
